CRAZY intense / sweaty sold out show. 200 + people in a cramped room! What else is there to say? I crowd surfed in the shortest of shorts and someone accidentally grabbed my balls. Hopefully it was a girl. Anyways, everything surpassed my expectations at this show, it went according plan and then some. La Bella had a reaction they easily deserved for playing at their home venue. Dad Punchers has the drummer from Touche Amore on guitar/vocals, a guy who outdid himself to create a side band that blew up so quickly.
In conclusion, Bridgetown DIY is a collective, not a business and it embodies a vibe that is reminiscent of the good old days (that unfortunately I'm too young to have experienced) before the internet where it was more common for people to actually physically meet up and put their heads together for the sake of music.
